Kayla Jeanne Aesthetics Covid-19 Appointment Guidelines
Pre-Screening: When we are ready to start treating, there will be a pre-screening requirement and consent form. Any client with recent travel exposure or symptom history will not be eligible to appoint. Please let us know if you have any health conditions that make you at high risk to COVID-19.
Day of visit: On the day of your appointment, please come alone to maintain to limit exposure and the number of clients in the waiting room. We will ask you to complete a brief electronic healthcare questionnaire and will take your temperature before you are escorted quickly into the treatment room. ANY CLIENT SHOWING SYMPTOMS OF ILLNESS WILL BE DENIED SERVICE AND SENT HOME.
Face mask: You must wear a mask to your appointment and will be asked not to take it off until you are told to by your Esthetician in the treatment room.
Wash your hands: Correct hygiene and frequent hand washing with soap is vital to help combat spread of the coronavirus. All employees are instructed to wash their hands or use rinse free sanitizer when a sink is not available every 60 minutes, or after treatment (for 20 seconds). All employees are also instructed to do so after any of the following activities: using the restroom, sneezing, touching their face, blowing their nose, cleaning, sweeping, mopping, eating, drinking, and entering and leaving the treatment room facilities. After each hand washing, employees and customer are recommended to use rinse free hand sanitizer. Please wash your hands when you arrive and when you leave the room.
Limit chatting: While we love socializing and chatting, during these times we will ask you to keep interactions brief to reduce interpersonal exposure. Please know that we care about you, but we will have to refrain from our normal hugs, handshakes and kisses during this time. If possible, please try not to talk during your facial; if you need to talk, your esthetician will provide you with a mask. We will make sure you will have plenty of time to catch up in the treatment before and after your appointment.
Timeliness: Please arrive on time for your appointment. If you arrive more than 5 minutes before your appointment time, we will ask you to wait outside or in your car. If you are more than 10 minutes late, we will have to cut your appointment time short and will not be able to run over, to allow the proper amount of time needed to sanitize and turn over the room. We appreciate your understanding.
Touchless Checkout: At this time, all transactions will be by credit card and will be paperless. You will provide your credit card details at the time of booking your treatment. Any products that you would like to purchase at the end of your treatment and any gratuity you would like to add at the end of your treatment will be charged to the credit card on file when you made your booking.
Retail: We kindly ask that you do not touch any products on display. We will happily help you and advise you on what products would be best suitable for your skin at the end of your treatment.

Low traffic: As a bespoke practice with only a solo suite, we pride ourselves at operating with low customer volume at any one time. We will be limiting appointment slots to reduce customer traffic through the common areas; therefore, we ask that you please call us when you arrive and wait in your car or outside until your appointment time. This will allow us to check in / out only one customer at a time.
Personal Protection Equipment (PPE): Appropriate PPE will be worn by all employees based on their role and responsibilities and in adherence to state & local regulations and guidance. Training on how to safely use and dispose of all PPE will be mandatory. Every employee will be provided a mask and required to wear that mask while in the suite. Gloves will be provided to all employees as well as face shields.
Refreshments: We will be switching to paper cups for water provided to clients.
Cleaning and Sanitizing: All equipment, doors, desks, and retail lounge will be sanitized after each customer. Our mixing bowls and dishes will now be disposable, and all facial tools including spatulas and mask brushes will be for single use only. We are allowing a 30 minute turnaround to wipe and sanitize all door handles, machines, equipment, and wipe down chairs and treatment beds in the treatment rooms after each customer. A thorough cleaning of the entire suite will take place nightly.
Air Purifiers: UltraHEPA filters remove 99.97% of particles as small as .3 microns. In addition, the purifiers help to destroy bacteria, mold and viruses in the air. We will have an air purifier in the waiting area and treatment room for your assurance and peace of mind.
